NJ Vike's Railroad Discussions

Visit NJ Vike's "Railroad and Transportation" on our Pinelands and Down Jersey Forum

Here's a link to a site with forums that are specific to railroads: Railfan Select Forums once you get there. Some boards to look at under their forums:

Fallen Flags:
->Jersey Central Railroad
->Lehigh and New England
->Lehigh and Hudson River
->The Lackawanna
->Erie Lackawanna

Regional and Short Lines
-> New York Susquehanna & Western (NYS&W)

The Fallen Flags term is for discussion of all the railroads that no longer exist. Some of these railroads were absorbed by Conrail or just went out of business. There's a big following in this group.

There's also plenty of discussion of Railroading on this forum under Pennsylvania RR and PRSL.

Here's another site http://railroad.net/forums/index.php that has specific information on South Jersey trails.
